Shoolini University celebrated the World Environment Day with a series of engaging and educational activities aimed at raising awareness about pressing environmental issues.
One of the highlights of the day was an interactive session between Shoolini University students and the students from Majholi government School. The young minds were engaged in discussions about the importance of environmental conservation and the need to reduce plastic waste. The students were also engaged in the activities like kulhad painting, movie screening on plastic waste and other activities.
A unique “graveyard” activity was also conducted in the University campus with university students. The purpose of this activity was to shed light on the alarming statistics of tobacco consumption and its associated environmental hazards. Participants were shown eye-opening facts about the detrimental effects of tobacco on human health and the environment. This activity aimed to raise awareness and encourage individuals to make informed choices that contribute to a healthier environment. The whole event was coordinated by office of Dean Students Welfare Shoolini University.
