Shoolini Institute of Life Sciences and Business Management (SILB), Solan, observed World Environment Day by organising several activities focused on environmental awareness and cleanliness.
The event began with a message from Chairperson Mrs. Saroj Khosla, followed by a pledge by students and staff to “beat plastic pollution.” A plantation and cleanliness drive were carried out on the campus, where students and faculty participated actively.
The main event of the day was an Eco Awareness Rally held under the theme “Our Earth, Our Responsibility.” The rally started from the SILB campus and moved towards the Old DC Office on Mall Road, Solan. Participants carried placards and banners to spread awareness about clean air, water conservation, and environmental protection.
The activities aimed to promote environmental responsibility and encourage the local community to contribute towards a cleaner and greener environment.
