A vibrant and emotional farewell ceremony was organised for Class XII students at Lakshya Public School Arki. The event was graced by Dr. P. L. Gupta, Chairman of Lakshya Educational Institution, as the Chief Guest. The programme commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp and Saraswati Vandana.
Addressing the students, Dr. P. L. Gupta emphasised that discipline, hard work, and self-confidence are the keys to success in student life. He remarked that a school is not merely a centre for education but a foundation for values and personality development. He expressed confidence that the students of Lakshya Public School would bring laurels to their school and region in the future.
The farewell featured colourful cultural performances, including Himachali folk dance Nati, Punjabi Bhangra, group songs, and a short skit, captivating the audience.
The highlight of the event was the ramp walk, where students showcased their confidence and personality. The Mr. and Miss Farewell competition added glamour to the programme. After multiple rounds, Yaksh was crowned Mr. Farewell, while Kavya won the title of Miss Farewell.
Several special titles were also awarded, including Miss Dancing Yaksha, Miss Stunning Siya, Beauty with Brain Dhanya, Miss Graceful Ayushi, Miss Confident Sarika, Miss Elegant Riddhi, Mr. Charm Rohit, Mr. Icon Divyanshu, Mr. Dynamic Nilesh, Mr. Classy Kavya, Mr. Composed Shivam, Mr. Polite Manish, Mr. Dashing Hitender, Mr. Gentleman Pranav, Mr. Genius Somesh, Mr. Alight Sahil, and Mr. Versatile Kapish.
The programme was anchored by Gorish and Ashlesha. The outgoing students shared their cherished memories and expressed gratitude towards their teachers and school management, creating an emotional atmosphere.
Principal Veena Gupta extended her best wishes to the students for a bright future and encouraged them to stay focused on their goals and work consistently towards success.
Teachers, staff members, and parents were present on the occasion. The ceremony concluded with the distribution of mementos and certificates, followed by a group photo session.
