A sensational case has come to light on Monday evening in Theog police station area of Shimla district, where an unknown Nepali youth was brutally murdered. The killers threw the body on the roadside and fled from the spot. There is an atmosphere of panic in the entire area due to this incident. The police have registered a case of murder and started investigation and the search for the killers is on.
According to the information received, this incident came to light when two Nepali laborers reached Ankush Sharma, a resident of village Kalind. The laborers told Ankush that they were going towards Mahori village, when on the way near Mahori, they found the body of a Nepali youth lying. The deceased has not been identified yet.
As soon as Ankush Sharma got this shocking news from the laborers, he immediately informed the Panchayat Pradhan. The Panchayat Pradhan also informed the Theog police station without delay. As soon as the news was received, the police swung into action and immediately left for the spot.
The DSP of Theog, Siddharth Sharma, said that the police have registered a case of murder in this case under Section 103 BNS of the Indian Justice Code. DSP Sharma said that looking at the initial condition of the body, it seems that the youth has been murdered. Possibly he has been attacked with a sharp weapon, which has caused his death.
Late on Monday night, a police team led by the SHO of Theog police station conducted a thorough inspection of the scene. The police team has collected important evidence from the spot, which can help in reaching the killers. The body has been taken into custody and sent for post-mortem, so that the real cause of death can be ascertained. The police is also making inquiries in the surrounding areas to identify the deceased.
DSP Siddharth Sharma said that the police is seriously investigating the matter and every aspect is being looked into. The police is examining the footage of CCTV cameras installed in the surrounding areas. This may reveal how the deceased reached there and who attacked him.
