A drunken youth raped a widow woman twice his age. Police have registered the case and arrested the accused. After presenting the accused in the court, he has been sent to judicial custody for 14 days.
Actually, this incident happened in a panchayat under Nahan development block. According to police, a 50 -year -old widow woman lives alone here. Her daughter is married. The day the incident took place was a wedding ceremony in the village. It is being told that the house of marriage is about 125 steps away from the woman’s house.
According to the information, 24 -year -old Rajesh, who lives in the neighborhood Kegaon, arrived from the neighborhood village to attend the wedding. During this time, the accused drank alcohol with his friends here. Around 12 o’clock in the night, the accused reached the victim’s house and kicked and opened the door and entered and raped her.
It is being told that the woman made a lot of noise to escape from the clutches of the accused but no one heard her screams due to the sound of the DJ playing in the neighbourhood. The accused raped the woman and fled from the spot. The victim recognized the accused. He lodged a police complaint the next day. After receiving the complaint, the police immediately arrested the accused Rajesh.
According to the police, the woman belongs to the Scheduled Caste while the accused belongs to the upper caste community. After this, apart from Section 376, Atrocity Act has also been included in the case.
On behalf of the woman, the young man has received a complaint of rape by entering the house drunk. The accused has been arrested. The court has sent the accused to judicial custody for 14 days. The case is being investigated. ASP Yogesh Rowlta said that the accused has been sent to judicial custody for 14 days by the court.
