SOLAN
The Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board Limited (HPSEBL), Solan, has announced scheduled power shutdowns in various parts of the district on January 29 and 30, 2026, due to essential maintenance work. This information was shared by Senior Superintending Engineer, Solan, Mr. Rahul Verma.
According to him, power supply will remain disrupted on both days from 10:00 am to 10:30 am and 5:00 pm to 5:30 pm in areas covered under the 33 KV Kathed feeder, including Mall Road, Upper Bazaar, Court Complex, PWD Colony, Sunny Side, Vivanta Mall, Regional Hospital, Mini Secretariat, Municipal Corporation area, Old and New Bus Stand, Chowk Bazaar, Circular Road, Jaunaji Marg and other adjoining localities.
Further, on January 29 and 30, from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm, power supply will be affected in areas under the 11 KV Rajgarh feeder, including New Kathed, Police Line, Jail, Sabzi Mandi, BSNL Colony, Income Tax Department, Sub Jail and surrounding areas.
Power supply will also remain disrupted during the same hours on both days in areas falling under the 11 KV Himachal Conductor and Sarahan feeders, including Khundidhar, Sai Mandir, Shamati, Kwagdi, Damrog, Anji, Balana, Shamati village and nearby localities.
On January 29, 2026, from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm, power supply will be interrupted in areas under the 11 KV Solan No. 02 feeder, including Housing Board, Degree College, Tehsil Office, DIET, Tank Road, Forest Road, Chaurighati and adjoining areas. Power shutdown is also scheduled on the same day in areas covered under the 11 KV Shivalik feeder at Chambaghat and the 11 KV Chambaghat feeder, affecting HRTC Workshop, Central Prime Mall, Basal Marg, Housing Board Basal and nearby areas.
On January 30, 2026, from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm, power supply will remain disrupted in areas under the 11 KV Express feeder, Chambaghat Industrial Area, 11 KV Kandaghat feeder and 11 KV WSS feeder, affecting Kandaghat, Salogra, Jaunaji, Ber, Shilli, Karol Bihar, Deputy Commissioner’s residence and surrounding areas.
Mr. Verma stated that the schedule may change due to adverse weather conditions or unavoidable circumstances. He added that although alternative power supply is being provided through the 33 KV Kandaghat feeder, temporary disruptions may occur in other areas due to overloading.
Consumers in the affected areas have been requested to extend their cooperation during the maintenance period.
