A female tourist from Gujarat died on Wednesday in Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh. Prima facie, the woman had fallen due to dizziness in the bathroom of a private hotel in Shimla.
After this her friends took her to IGMC where the doctors declared her dead and asked her to inform the police about the matter, after which the friends of the deceased woman informed her.
According to the information received from the police, Jol Patel of Gujarat, wife of Roshan Patel, resident of Swami Narayas Street Up State, Gandhari Taluk, Charan District, Vadodara Gujarat, had come to visit Himachal along with her two other friends. After traveling from Manali, she reached Shimla on Tuesday night and stayed in a private hotel in Kachchi Valley of Shimla. Even after reaching late at night, she fell asleep and in the morning she felt dizzy and fell down in the bathroom. After this, her friends took the help of the police to take her to IGMC hospital. IGMC doctors declared him dead. The age of the woman is said to be 26 years. Police have sent the body for postmortem. A police officer said that the situation will be clear only after the post-mortem report. Prima facie it is a case of dizziness and falling in the bathroom.
