The sensation has spread after the dead body of a 26-year-old youth was found in the public toilet of Indira Market in Mandi city. The surprising thing is that a syringe, cigarette packet and matchbox were also found near the dead body of the young man, due to which initially it seems to be a case of death due to drug overdose
. However, the exact cause of death will be known only after post-mortem. The deceased has been identified as 26-year-old Lokesh alias Labbu, who was a resident of Tarna ward of Mandi city.
According to the information, Lokesh went to the toilet in the evening and closed the door from inside. When the door did not open for about two hours, the cleaning worker present there peeped from above into the toilet and found the young man in an unconscious state. The police was informed about this and when the police came to the spot and opened the door, they saw that the young man was dead. Police have found a syringe, cigarette packet and matchbox from the dead body.
ASP Mandi Sagar Chandra has confirmed the matter. He said that the exact cause of death of the youth would be known only after the post mortem report. Police have registered the case and started investigation. The family members have also been informed.
