Aanchal Thakur of Manali has won the gold medal in the National Skiing Championship which started in Auli, Uttarakhand.
Earlier, Aanchal Thakur won a bronze medal for India in the international competition held last year.
Aanchal has achieved this victory in the Joint Salalam event. In the event, many players from Himachal Pradesh participated in the 3-day championship.
Himachal players have played extremely well on the very first day of the competition.
Aanchal has illuminated the name of Manali and Himachal in the country and the world by her outstanding performance in skiing.
