In a press released, DK Sharma Member, National Security Advisory Board revealed that India has a very large customer base and once 5Gi is introduced, India will slowly move towards achieving global leadership.

He said” once 5Gi is successfully deployed in India, there is a very good chance that it gets deployed elsewhere in the World leading it to become a global standard”. This is once-in-century opportunity for India to have its own standard globalized and become a global leader in one of the vital technology, Sharma added.
