Abhilashi Ayurvedic College has been awarded the prestigious second prize by the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, for completing 60,000 Prakriti assessments. The college secured second place at the national level and first place in Himachal Pradesh.
Under Abhilashi University, the Abhilashi Ayurvedic College & Research Institute received this honor in a grand ceremony held in Mumbai. The award was presented by Union Minister of AYUSH, Pratap Rao Jadhav, in recognition of the institution’s outstanding contribution to the “National Prakriti Assessment Campaign.”
With the successful completion of approximately 60,000 Prakriti assessments, Abhilashi Ayurvedic College has emerged as the leading institution in Himachal Pradesh. The nationwide campaign, initiated by the Ministry of AYUSH, aims to help individuals understand their physical and mental constitution and adopt a healthier lifestyle.
During the event, Union Minister Pratap Rao Jadhav emphasized that this initiative is aiding millions of people in understanding their body type and promoting Ayurveda in every household. Over 4.7 lakh volunteers participated in the campaign, raising awareness about Ayurveda across the country. This effort aligns with the government’s mission to integrate Ayurveda into mainstream healthcare services.
Dr. Divya Deepak, Principal of Abhilashi Ayurvedic College & Research Institute, expressed gratitude to the faculty, non-teaching staff, and students for their contribution to this achievement. She also extended special thanks to the institution’s esteemed leadership.
On this occasion, Dr. R.K. Abhilashi (Chancellor, Abhilashi University), Dr. L.K. Abhilashi (Pro-Chancellor), Professor H.K. Chaudhary (Vice-Chancellor), Dr. Kapil Kapoor (Registrar), Dr. Narvada Abhilashi (Chairperson, Genius Education Society), Dr. Promila Abhilashi (Vice-Chairperson, Abhilashi Education Society), Secretary Narender Kumar, and Dean Dr. D.K. Mishra congratulated the professors, students, and staff of the institution for this remarkable achievement.
