Air service has resumed between Shimla and Dharamshala, two major cities of Himachal Pradesh. This news is a great relief for both tourists and local residents. After a gap of about one and a half months, Alliance Air has resumed its flights from August 4 i.e. today. The service was stopped in July due to bad weather, but now it is back on track.
This Alliance Air flight will take off from Shimla airport at 8:10 am and reach Gaggal airport in Dharamshala at 9:00 am. Passengers will have to pay a fare of ₹ 1724 on this route. The return flight will start from Dharamshala at 9:20 am and reach Shimla at 10:10 am. The fare from Dharamshala to Shimla is slightly higher, which has been fixed at ₹ 2271. This cheap air service will prove to be very beneficial for those who want to travel between the two cities.
In the month of August, this flight will be available only two days a week, Monday and Wednesday. However, in September, passengers will get even more convenience, as the flights will be four days a week. The company has released a schedule of Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for September. This schedule is also available on the official website of Alliance Air.
A representative of Alliance Air said that all preparations have been completed to start the air service. If the weather remains favorable, the flights will start on time.
