The establishment of new Paramedical Science Lab at APG Shimla University will prove to be a milestone for the students studying in various faculties of Paramedical Science across the country to improve their research based and practical knowledge in Paramedical courses. This is for the first time that various paramedical courses were introduced in Shimla by any educational institute. In the inauguration ceremony as the chief guest, Chancellor Suman Vikrant said that along with the practical knowledge of the education of the students, it is resolved to provide innovative and job creation level education for the development of quality education and at any cost the state strives to enable the talents to meet the challenges of the future. In the same inauguration ceremony, Chief Guest Engineer Suman Vikrant along with Pro-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Ramesh Chauhan, Dr. Ashwani Sharma, Registrar Dr. Anil Kumar Pal and various other university dignitaries were present. Dr. Prachi Vaid, Head, School of Allied and Healthcare Sciences said that various labs and equipments like Anatomy Lab, Physiotherapy Lab, Exercise Therapy Lab, Nursing Demonstration lab, Muscle Stimulator, Therapeutic Ultrasound, Electrical Nerve were inaugurated. Various new healthcare courses have been initiated by the university and the response received is courageous, she added.
