Shimla, May 12
As APG Shimla University fosters ties with educational institutions globally, the University recently engaged in excellent discussions with representatives of the Republic of Malawi and Mozambique. Deputy Secretary M. Rodolfo, Education Advisor to the High Commission of the Republic of Mozambique, and Orlando Augusto, Education Secretary to the High Commission of the Republic of Malawi, participated in the discussions held in New Delhi with the Executive Officer of the University.
The main objective of this meeting was to highlight the growing importance of international partnerships in higher education. Both countries expressed keen interest in enhancing educational exchanges, faculty partnerships, and student mobility programs with APG Shimla University. Executive Officer Jyotsna Sharma informed delegates about the university’s ins and outs, its education offerings, industry partnerships, and opportunities for international students. Delegates accepted the responsibility of the University to provide quality education and multicultural education.
Chancellor Engineer Suman Vikrant highlighted the importance of this collaboration and said “International collaboration is an integral part of our mission to provide global experiences and opportunities to our students. We are proud to strengthen our ties with Malawi and Mozambique, And we look forward to fruitful collaboration benefitting students and teachers through this collaboration.”
Pro Chancellor Dr. Ramesh Chauhan focused on the role of education and said “At APG Shimla University, we believe in the power of education to encourage universal understanding and collaboration. Breaking the traditional boundaries of education, we create a cultural dialogue and Committed to establishing deep harmony.”
The meeting ended with a commitment to explore joint initiatives, such as student exchange programs, research collaborations, and teacher development activities. APG Shimla University is able to enter into strategic partnerships with related institutions to promote internationalization and academic excellence.
