Information about Scheduled Caste welfare schemes given through song, music and street play
A state-wide publicity campaign is being run for the Scheduled Caste welfare schemes of the Himachal Government. In this sequence, under this special campaign today in Shimla district, artists of the theatre group Trimurti Rangmanch of the Information and Public Relations Department, informed people about the government welfare schemes and the process of availing their benefits through songs, music and street plays in Goro Kanoun of Village Panchayat Shoghi of Development Block Tutu and Kaina of Village Panchayat Janol and artists of Bhagwati Cultural Mandal Shantha in Village Panchayat Bamta and Nerwa of Development Block Chaupal.
On this occasion, the artists provided detailed information about the follow-up program, Golden Jubilee Shelter Scheme/Housing Grant, Skill Scheme under Computer Application Support Activities and Intercaste Marriage Award Scheme. Apart from this, the artists also laid special emphasis on de-addiction and social awareness.
The objective of this campaign is to provide information about the schemes directly to the people and increase social awareness.
