Inauguration and foundation stone of 19 development works worth Rs 30 crore done in one day
Una, September 8 – At present Haroli assembly constituency is moving towards decisive development and apart from the national level development projects, big projects in the fields of roads, health, education, drinking water and irrigation are being planned in a planned manner for the basic needs of the people of the area. Work is being done so that apart from the current needs of the area, its benefits can also be ensured for future generations. Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri gave this information while addressing the people present at the inauguration and foundation stone laying ceremony of 19 different development works worth Rs 30 crore in Haroli assembly constituency on Friday.
On the second day of his three-day stay in Una district, the Deputy Chief Minister laid the foundation stone and inaugurated 19 different development works costing about Rs 30 crore in Haroli assembly constituency. He laid the foundation stone and inaugurated 8 irrigation and 6 drinking water schemes costing Rs 25 crore 31 lakh 50 thousand. Apart from the drinking water scheme Panjawar, Pandoga, Badhera, Roda, he also inaugurated the newly constructed tube well Pahari (Badhera), Lower Kangar, Sansowal, Samnal, Haroli, Dhugge (Gram Panchayat Heeran), Gurpalah, Bathu and laid the foundation stone of the upgraded works of drinking water scheme Laluwal. He also laid the foundation stone of newly constructed Rajeev Bhavan in Gram Panchayat Nagnoli at a cost of Rs 17 lakh and two rain sheds to be constructed at Kangar and Kuthar Beet at a cost of Rs 25 lakh.
Apart from this, he also inaugurated 6 room building to be built at a cost of Rs 1 crore 3 lakh in Government Senior Secondary School, Pandoga, outdoor stadium to be built at a cost of Rs 1 crore 47 lakh in Government Senior Secondary School, Haroli, Rs 97 lakh in Gram Panchayat Gondpur Jaichand. He said that Haroli Milan program will be organized on one date of every month in Haroli assembly constituency in which any area resident can directly contact him regarding their personal works and problems. On the 2nd of every month, a youth meeting program will be organized in the assembly constituency Haroli so that the youth can participate in the development work as well as guide the young generation. The 8th of every month has been fixed for various developmental works in the Haroli assembly constituency, under which apart from inauguration and Bhoomi Poojan of development works in the area, monitoring of works under construction as well as quality and dynamism will also be ensured.
Speaking about the water related needs of the Haroli area, Mukesh Agnihotri said that Rs 11 crore is being spent for the construction of major irrigation and drinking water schemes in the area as well as to increase the underground water level in the area. Apart from this, Rs 58 crore is being spent to recharge the 122 ponds already created in the area. He informed that 60 tanks are being constructed in different areas including 25 lakh liters capacity overhead tank in village Amrali and 50 lakh liters underground tank in village Poliyan with the aim of increasing the water storage capacity in the area. 15 tube wells are being constructed in the area and new pipelines are being laid on which Rs 32 crores are being spent. Mukesh Agnihotri said that his main priority is to provide water to the fields and houses of every villager as per requirement.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that through the auction of 1300 VIP vehicle numbers in the Transport Department by the Himachal Pradesh government, an additional income of Rs 6 crore has been earned. Sugam Darshan system has been implemented for the convenience of devotees in Mata Chintpurni Temple, a famous religious place of the district, for which a fee of Rs 1100 has been fixed. Under this facility, five devotees from Baba Mai Das Sadan to the lift of Chintpurni temple are provided darshan in Mata Mandir through lift, apart from the facility of movement through golf cart. He told that Chintpurni Mandir Nyas Mandir Trust has earned an income of Rs 40 lakh in 27 days from this scheme and the daily income of the temple has increased by 15 percent. Apart from this, courier service has also been started in Himachal Road Transport Corporation buses. Similarly, continuous efforts are being made to increase the income of the state through other resources. He said that the state government is determined to fulfill the 10 guarantees given in its election manifesto. The guarantee of restoration of OPS has been fulfilled and efforts are being made to fulfill other guarantees also in a phased manner. He said that the development of villages and poor in the state is the topmost priority of the government, in view of which many schemes are being implemented in the state.
Mukesh Agnihotri said that for the first time two decades ago when he got the opportunity to represent the Haroli assembly constituency, at that time Haroli assembly constituency was recognized as a backward assembly constituency in the district and no college and industrial training institute could be established in this area. There was no while at present three colleges and two industrial training institutes are working in Haroli assembly constituency. Two decades ago, there were only four senior secondary schools in the area, while at present there are 33 government senior secondary schools functioning in the Haroli assembly constituency. Apart from this, due to his efforts, the Indian Institute of Information Technology has been established in the area at a cost of Rs 135 crore, where many students from different parts of the country are taking education related to computer education. He said that Rs 32 crore is being spent on providing drinking water in the Bulk Drug Park being established in Haroli assembly constituency, Rs 40 crore is being spent on road construction and Rs 15 crore is being spent on providing electricity supply.
Mukesh Agnihotri said that the cooperative movement in the country was started by Late Mian Hira Singh from village Panjawar of Haroli assembly constituency, which was later followed across the country. He said that the Him Caps Law College established in village Badhera is a laudable effort done under co-operation. He said that a grand cooperative building will be constructed in the area in the memory of late Mian Hira Singh, the founder and founder of cooperation, for which land has been selected.
On the demand of the local residents in Naganoli, he assured to provide the necessary funds to pave the Rajiv Bhawan complex, start a direct bus service from village Naganoli to the district headquarters Una and start a veterinary dispensary in Naganoli.
