A one day workshop on new criminal law was organized at Bahra University under the joint aegis of Bahra University and Punjab University Chandigarh. The chief guest of the workshop was Professor Jyoti Ratna of Punjab University, Chandigarh. The workshop was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by the chief guest Professor Jyoti Ratna, Director General Professor RM Bhagat, Registrar Vineet Kumar, Dean of Law Department Professor Akhilesh Ranaut.
On inaugurating the workshop, Professor RM Bhagat welcomed all the guests. Chief guest Professor Jyoti Ratna explained about the new criminal law. Resource person of the workshop was O.P. Sharma and Kshitij, Advocate High Court Punjab and Chandigarh were also present.
At the end of the workshop, Dean of Law Department Professor Akhilesh Ranaut thanked everyone.
Director General Professor RM Bhagat, Registrar Vineet Kumar, Dean of Law Department Professor Akhilesh Ranaut, Professor HR Jhingta of Law Department, Deans of all departments, all professors, researchers and students of Bahra University were present in the workshop.
