Chief Parliamentary Secretary (Public Works, Health and Family Welfare and Information and Public Relations Department) Sanjay Awasthi said that developing Arki assembly constituency from tourism point of view is his priority. Sanjay Awasthi was addressing a public meeting in Devra Gram Panchayat of Arki Assembly constituency today.
Sanjay Awasthi said that to promote religious tourism in the area, attention will be given to infrastructure development in Baridhar. He said that the work of building ropeway to connect Baridhar with Savava village has been put on MLA priority. About Rs 150 crore will be spent for the construction of Rajjo Marg. This will boost the tourism sector and also provide employment opportunities to local residents.
He said that providing employment to educated unemployed youth is the priority of the state government. In view of this, the state government has started Rajiv Gandhi Self-Employment Startup Scheme of Rs 680 crore. Under this scheme, youth will be given 50 percent subsidy on the purchase of e-taxi. He also urged the youth to take advantage of this scheme.
Chief Parliamentary Secretary laid the foundation stone of Manjyat, Pati, Devra, Papalota link road of Gram Panchayat Devra to be built at an estimated cost of Rs 7.31 crore in Gram Panchayat Devra. He also inaugurated an additional room in Government Primary School, Devra, constructed with an amount of Rs 3.50 lakh.
The Chief Parliamentary Secretary directed the officials of the Electricity Board to solve the problem of low voltage in Gram Panchayat Devra.
He announced an additional amount of Rs 1 lakh for the community building in village Pati of Devra Gram Panchayat and Rs 03 lakh for paving the connecting road from Janj Ghar to primary school Pati.
Sanjay Awasthi announced to give 50 thousand rupees for the repair of Mahila Mandal Bhawan Devra. He announced to give Rs 1100 to the students of Government Primary School, Devra, who presented cultural programs. He also announced to give Rs 11 thousand per Mahila Mandal to Jakholi, Kokri, Khalsa Patti, Devra Mahila Mandal.
On this occasion, children of primary school and women of Mahila Mandal Devra presented a colorful cultural program.
