Shimla
Nearly fifty schoolboys from Bishop Cotton School in Shimla participated in the Guru Nanak Jayanti celebrations at the Shimla Gurudwara.
The students not only attended the religious ceremony but actively participated in ‘seva’ (selfless service) by extending a helping hand to the devotees.
As a part of their seva, some students took charge of organizing langar, the community kitchen, where they enthusiastically helped in preparing and serving meals to the attendees. This act of service aligns with the Sikh principles of selfless service and equality, emphasizing the values of compassion and unity.
The Gurudwara committee and the Sikh community in Shimla appreciated the students’ involvement and contribution to the celebration.
