Himachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri launched a scathing attack on the BJP at a press conference in Shimla on Wednesday. Mukesh said that the pain of BJP leaders being out of power is still visible even after two years. BJP leaders are being targeted. After coming to power, the BJP tried to topple the state government. The state BJP leadership was constantly trying to topple the Himachal government by joining hands with the Centre. But his efforts failed. Even today, the number of Congress MLAs is the same as it was when the government was formed. The BJP people worked continuously for two years to spread instability in the state and did not play the role of a constructive opposition.
Mukesh said that attempts are being made to stop the financial relief to Himachal by going to Delhi. The BJP is divided into many factions in the state. The disaster relief money was to be received from the center, which has not come so far. The BBMB has to get five thousand crore rupees. If the government of India intervenes, this amount will be available to us immediately. The Centre is refusing to intervene in the Shanan project case. The condition was also imposed for the financial assistance received by the state under the project with foreign funding. GST compensation has also been stopped. It also stopped revenue deficit grants and reduced the borrowing limit. The Chief Minister’s Principal Media Advisor Naresh Chauhan was also present on the occasion.
