BUEST NSS camp commenced with an insightful survey focused on the Ayushman Bharat card scheme. Volunteers visited the village, engaging with the residents to raise awareness about the benefits and application process of the Ayushman Bharat card. The interaction not only provided valuable information to the villagers but also strengthened the bond between the NSS volunteers and the community.
The post-lunch session featured a lecture on “Viksit Bharat @2047” by Dr. Arun Kant Painoli, the Dean of the SMS Department. This session was well-attended, with notable attendees including Student Welfare Officer Sushma Singh, NSS Program Officer Ms. Ankita Thakur, and other coordinators and faculty members.
Dr. Painoli emphasized several critical areas for India’s future development, including technology, infrastructure, and the economy. He also covered important national initiatives such as Swachh Bharat (Clean India), Swasth Bharat (Healthy India), and the campaign to ban polythene. Throughout his comprehensive presentation, he motivated the volunteers by reminding them that they are the youth and the voice of the nation, capable of driving significant change and progress.
At the end of the session, Dr. Painoli was honored with a memento as a token of appreciation for his enlightening talk. The day’s activities concluded with Ankita Thakur briefing the volunteers about the schedule for the following day.
Overall, Day 4 was marked by meaningful community interaction and enriching educational sessions, contributing significantly to the holistic development of the NSS volunteers.
