Road accidents in Himachal Pradesh continue to escalate. Last night, another car accident was reported from Kullu district. The accident occurred near Rela village in the Sainj Valley of Kullu district, where a car crashed last night. Two young men died on the spot. Police arrived after being informed by local residents and sent the bodies for post-mortem.
ASP Kullu Sanjeev Chauhan stated, “The cause of the accident is currently unknown. The Sainj police have registered a case and are investigating the matter. The bodies of the two young men will be handed over to their families after the post-mortem.”
According to information received from Kullu police, Teja Singh (38) of Mantala village and Rajkumar (25) of Kartha were traveling to Rela when the car suddenly crashed at night.
Locals rushed to the scene upon receiving information about the accident, but by then both had died. Others informed the Sainj police. Police arrived at the scene, took possession of the bodies, and sent them for post-mortem examination. The police have also informed the deceased’s family about the incident. The bodies will be handed over to them after the post-mortem examination.
