After closing the institute, now the Chief Minister is haunted by the ghost of cutting the ribbon and getting the boards installed: Jairam Thakur

In a statement issued from Shimla, former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur has targeted the Chief Minister. He said that earlier the Chief Minister was possessed by the ghost of closing the working institutions opened by the previous government. Now the Chief Minister is haunted by the ghost of repeatedly cutting the ribbons of projects that have already been inaugurated or the foundation stone of which has been laid. This is happening for the first time in the state when the government, without contributing a single penny to any project, repeatedly cuts the ribbon in the name of foundation stone laying, bhoomi pujan, inauguration and being functional and wastes lakhs of rupees of common man’s tax. But this is happening in this government. If the government is not satisfied by cutting the father’s ribbon once, then the government finds some way or the other and cuts its ribbon a second time and gets the stripes in its name. The Trauma Center of IGMC is also an example where the government did not invest a single penny but sometimes cut the ribbon in the name of inauguration of the building and sometimes cut the ribbon in the name of making the Trauma Center functional. The most ridiculous thing is that a scam worth crores was made by appointing paramedical, security and sanitary staff in the trauma center without it being functional.
Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur said that today the Chief Minister is again cutting the ribbon for the expansion of the vegetable market, which had laid the foundation stone during the previous government. He said that along with laying the foundation stone for the expansion of this market, its DPR was prepared by our government and exemption was given by NGT. After getting exemption from NGT, the project was sent for technical approval. After this, due to imposition of code of conduct the work stopped there. After coming into the government, the Chief Minister had to start one work on priority basis because there was no hindrance left for it. But after 2 years, the government remembered this market. Even after this only lies and lies are being told. All the work was done by the previous government and provisions were made in the budget but this was not mentioned even once by the Chief Minister.
Our government had built the Parala processing plant at a cost of Rs 100 crore. The Chief Minister has cut the ribbon only by getting the water connection installed. After this, the contribution of the previous government was not even mentioned. We had started the work by getting the tender for CS store of 60 crore to 5400 metric tons capacity in Parala. The government is not able to complete it on time. If this had been completed on time, people would have benefited a lot.
The construction work of Parala Mandi additional building was done by our government with a sum of Rs 10 crore. She has not been able to get it inaugurated for two years. We had started the construction work of Mehndali Mandi of Rohru with Rs. 20 crores, which could not be completed till then. 90% of the construction of Mandi in Shilaru at a cost of Rs 20 crore. 10 percent of the work was done in our government but the government could not get it done in 2 years.
Sukhu government could not start the work of any new market in Himachal Pradesh. They are cutting the ribbons of the buildings built during the time of BJP. The government has not been able to get the mandis whitewashed for the last two years. But the Chief Minister and the government people are at the forefront in taking credit for the work done by the previous government and in lying
