This 326-page book includes some stunning photographs of Lahaul Spiti as well as significant details on the lifestyle of the locals.Because it mentions the creatures and birds that call Spiti home, such as the snow leopard, which is referred to as the pride of the region, the book has grown to be a significant record.
The fact that the book’s author is a young forest officer who has visited the high mountains of Lahaul Spiti and encountered the challenges there makes it significant as well.
