Shimla, Former BJP Minister and MLA Sukhram Chaudhary said that the media advisor of the Chief Minister is trying to mislead the public. The Jairam Thakur government gave gifts worth trillions of rupees to the public but the Congress government in Himachal Pradesh snatched all this. The BJP does what it says and on the other hand, the Congress party does not do at all what it says.
He said that the media advisor of Congress is only busy in improving the image of their Chief Minister but Congress is known for corruption and mismanagement.
He said that the youth were not able to apply for Himachal Pradesh Police Constable Recruitment. The last date for application was 31 October. It is being told that there is a problem in the site since last five days. Due to this, application could not be done. Everyday the youth were reaching Lokmitra Kendras and cyber cafes to apply, but due to the site not working, they had to return disappointed. The youth were facing problems due to frequent site hanging. Now if the government is talking about extending the time by 15 days, then they have not done any favor to the youth of the state, that was their right.
He said that the scheme of giving e-taxi permits to the unemployed under the Rajiv Gandhi Swarojgar Start Up Yojana has got entangled in the issue of bank loan guarantee. The bank management is not ready to give loans without guarantee and is demanding a tripartite agreement. The problems of hundreds of youth who had applied for e-taxi permits under the scheme a year ago have increased. When the scheme was implemented, the bank management had agreed to give loans but now they are asking for a guarantee to repay the loan. The unemployed youth have booked electric vehicles from the dealers by paying thousands of rupees. The youth say that if the loan is not approved, the booking amount of the vehicle can be confiscated. Not only this, land papers are being demanded from unemployed youth in the name of security, although there was no such condition at the time of application.
At this time, the youth in the state are being cheated continuously.
