Shimla, February 28:
The Himachal Pradesh Government has promoted Shri Deepak Ajay Singh to the post of Under Secretary (HPSS) in the H.P. Secretariat.
According to a notification issued by the Department of Personnel (Appointment-IV), the Governor, on the recommendations of the Departmental Promotion Committee, ordered the promotion of Deepak Ajay Singh from Section Officer to Under Secretary in Level-21 of the Pay Matrix (₹67,400–₹2,01,200) along with ₹5,000 Secretariat Pay per month.
The promotion will be on an officiating basis and will take effect from March 1, 2026, or from the date of taking over charge, whichever is later.
The notification clarifies that the promotion will not confer any right for regular promotion, continuation or seniority against the post of Under Secretary (HPSS). Posting orders for the newly promoted officers will be issued separately.
The order was issued by the Chief Secretary to the Government of Himachal Pradesh.
