Instructions given to the officials to pay special attention to the quality of construction work
Education Minister Rohit Thakur inspected the under-construction building of the Block Development Officer’s office being built at Kotkhai at a cost of Rs 5 crore 36 lakh.
The Education Minister said that this building will be a major gift for the people of Kotkhai. Its construction will provide convenience to the employees working in the Kotkhai development block and accelerate development work. This work will prove to be a milestone in strengthening the Panchayati Raj institutions.
It is worth noting that this will be a five-story building, in which, in addition to the Block Development Officer’s office and residence, rooms equipped with new technology are being constructed for the employees. A library is also being constructed on the first floor of this building, which will benefit the representatives and officials associated with Panchayati Raj, as well as the general public. An elevator is also being constructed in this building. Along with this, provision for a canteen has also been made in this building. A Panchayat Samiti Hall is also to be constructed on the top floor of this building, in which important meetings can be held from time to time.
Rohit Thakur instructed all officials and builders involved in the construction of this building to pay special attention to quality and complete the work expeditiously. He also stated that the office of the Block Development Officer, Kotkhai, will set a unique example in the series of ongoing development projects in Jubbal-Nawar-Kotkhai.
