District Election Officer (Panchayat) and Deputy Commissioner Solan Manmohan Sharma has issued orders regarding the election of Panchayati Raj institutions.
Manmohan Sharma has issued this order using the powers vested under Rule 30 of the Panchayati Raj Election Rules, 1994 as per the instructions of the Himachal Pradesh State Election Commission.
According to the orders, all the Block Development Officers of District Solan have been appointed as Election Officers in their respective blocks to conduct the elections of Panchayati Raj Institutions.
Manmohan Sharma has directed all election officers to identify and inspect the buildings proposed to be used as polling stations in their respective areas and submit full details by July 21, 2025.
