A farewell ceremony for students passing it was held at the Department of Microbiology and Biotechnology of the Shoolini Institute of Life Sciences and Business Management (SILB), Solan.
The farewell was organised for the 3rd year students of B.Sc Microbiology and B.Sc Biotechnology.
The event was inaugurated by SILB President Mrs. Saroj Khosla, Director Dr. Shalini Sharma by lighting the lamp and various cultural programmes were also organised.
Mrs. Khosla said that all the students should make proud the SILB Institute and their parents. She said that parents and teachers are the only two persons who are truly happy with the progress of children. She also wishes that all the students passing out from SILB Institute should bring laurels to the institute across the country.
On the occasion, two students Aradhana B.Sc Biotech 3rd year and Harsha B.Sc Microbiology 3rd year were honoured with mementos. Aradhana has passed IIT Jam 2022 exam and Harsha secured 2nd position in Research Conclave organised by Goswami Ganesh Dutt Sanatan Dharma College Chandigarh.
Mrs Khosla while felicitating both said that she is proud that the students of the institute have been bringing laurels to the institute across the country and will continue to do so. At the end of the programme, Simran was chosen as Miss Farewell and Karthik as Mr. Farewell.
