4 students of BL Central Senior Secondary School Kunihar have maintained their dominance in state level sports. Giving this information, school president Gopal Sharma said that Vanshika Thakur, Simran, Arnika and Shivam Bhardwaj participated in the state level under-19 student sports competition shot put and discus throw competition in which Vanshika Thakur won gold medal in shot put, Shivam Bhardwaj won silver medal and Simran won a silver medal in high jump for Solan district.
Due to which Vanshika, Simran, Shivam and Jigar in under-14 have been selected for the national level sports competition. On reaching the school, Vanshika Thakur, Simran, Arnika and Shivam Bhardwaj and their parents were given a grand welcome with flower garlands and were honored by feeding them sweets.
