On the occasion of the birthday of Member of Parliament and former Union Minister, Shri Anurag Singh Thakur, the Himachal Pradesh Olympic Association and the Shimla District Cricket Association celebrated his birthday today in Shimla and distributed blankets and fruits to patients at Deen Dayal Hospital, Shimla. They also encouraged the youth of the country to stay away from hospitals and engage in sports to stay healthy. On this occasion, local activists visited hospitals, old-age homes, and needy families to distribute fruits and wished Anurag Singh Thakur a healthy, long, and successful life. Those present at the event remarked that Anurag Singh Thakur has brought fame to Hamirpur and the entire state of Himachal Pradesh, both nationally and internationally, through his development work, dedication to youth, and spirit of public service. A large number of Himachal Olympic Association officials, Bharatiya Janata Party workers, and local citizens attended the fruit distribution program. All pledged to promote the spirit of service in society.
