Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla talked to India’s famous mountaineer Baljit Kaur on the phone and inquired about her well-being. He wished Baljit Kaur a speedy recovery. Baljit Kaur is a resident of Solan district of Himachal Pradesh. The Governor said that the people of Himachal were proud of him and his courage was an inspiration to others. He said that the blessings of the people of the state will always be with him.
Baljit Kaur was reported missing while climbing Annapurna peak in Nepal.
