Shimla/New Delhi, February 27: BJP Rajya Sabha MP Harsh Mahajan has been nominated as a Member of the India–Saudi Arabia Parliamentary Friendship Group for the 18th Lok Sabha period.
According to an official communication issued by the Lok Sabha Secretariat (Conference and Protocol Branch) on February 23, 2026, the Hon’ble Speaker, Lok Sabha, has constituted the Parliamentary Friendship Group with Saudi Arabia and nominated Mahajan as one of its members.
The letter, signed by Director L.V. Ramana, stated that the group has been formed to strengthen parliamentary cooperation and bilateral engagement between India and Saudi Arabia.
The India–Saudi Arabia Parliamentary Friendship Group aims to promote mutual understanding, enhance dialogue between lawmakers, and deepen strategic ties between the two countries through parliamentary exchanges and cooperation.
