Himachal players have won two medals for the country in the Special Olympics World Winter Games which is held in Turin, Italy. Harshita Thakur of Shimla is one out of them who won the silver medal in the snow boarding event.
Karan Nanda, State Media Incharge BJP has congratulated Harshita Thakur for her achievement. Nanda also gave his thanks to Malika Nadda and Rotary Shimla, for encouraging upcoming generation for sports.
He said the way have encouraged the young generation is an inspiration for everyone.
