Himachal Pradesh High Court has ordered the Principal Secretary (Health), Director of Medical Education and Principal of IGMC to be personally present along with records in the public interest matter related to the Trauma Centre. A division bench of Acting Chief Justice Tarlok Singh Chauhan and Justice Satyen Vaidya has scheduled the hearing of the case on December 5.
It is noteworthy that the Central Government had told in the last hearing on the matter that sufficient funds are available with the Central Government to set up a Trauma Centre, but the Himachal Pradesh Government has not raised any such demand from the Centre. The court had ordered the state government and the central government to file their respective affidavits in this regard
