Himachal State National Method University , Shimla has New admitted Students Of Orientation for ‘ Aarohan – 2024′ Program Held
Himachal Pradesh National Law University organized ‘ Aarohan – 2024’ orientation program for newly admitted students of undergraduate and postgraduate programs . The chief guest of the program was Himachal Pradesh Lokayukta Justice C.B. Barowalia . The program was presided over by Prof. ( Dr. ) Prof. (Dr.) Ranbir Singh , Pro – Chancellor , IILM University , Gurugram and the special guest was Prof. ( Dr. ) P.S. Jaswal , Vice Chancellor , SRM University . Prof. ( Dr. ) Chanchal Kumar Singh , Vice Chancellor ( Acting ) More than 200 UG and PG students participated today under the leadership of HPNLU , Shimla .
The Chief Guest , Hon’ble Justice C.B. Barowalia , Lokayukta , Himachal Pradesh addressed the students and said that the profession of law is a noble profession . He urged the students to be disciplined in life and understand the value of their time during their studies . The presidential address was delivered by Prof. ( Dr. ) Ranbir Singh , Pro – Vice Chancellor , IILM University , Gurugram , in which he said that the legal profession is a noble profession as the history of freedom struggle in most of the countries has been written by lawyers . He cited three stories from his experience which led to the conclusion that legal profession is a transformational profession in itself . Guest of honour , Prof. ( Dr. ) P.S. Jaswal , Vice Chancellor , SRM University motivated the students and He congratulated them for choosing the legal profession . He also urged the students to be knowledge centric and not information centric . Singh welcomed the students and discussed about the course outline available to the students for each subject . He also urged the students to make use of the library as it is equipped with various volumes on law and social sciences . Prof. ( Dr. ) S.S. Jaswal , Registrar , HPNLU , Shimla presented the vote of thanks .
