Former Sujanpur MLA Rajendra Rana has said that Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu’s model is proving to be disastrous for Congress across the country and the latest example of this is the Congress’s crushing defeat in the Delhi elections, where the public completely rejected the party and Congress could not win a single seat.
In a statement issued here, Rajendra Rana said that the people of the country trust the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the guarantees of the BJP and this is the reason why people are wholeheartedly supporting the BJP in one state after another and the country is becoming Congress-free.
Rajendra Rana said that the biggest reason for the embarrassment of the Congress is that the Sukhu government in Himachal broke its promises to the people by giving false guarantees and ruined the economic condition of the state. He said that the Sukhu government has looted the resources of the state on its favorites and friends, due to which the trust of the public has completely broken. Not only this, by eliminating transparency in jobs, the people are being benefited through the back door. Due to all these reasons, the image of Congress is getting tarnished in the whole country.
Himachal connection of Congress’s plight in Delhi elections
Rajendra Rana said that the way the public completely rejected Congress in the Delhi assembly elections, it is a direct indication that the functioning of the Congress government of Himachal has damaged the national image of the party. He said that the people of Himachal are now understanding the reality of the Sukhu model, and this is the reason why Congress is on the verge of extinction in the state.
Congress clean bowled to zero in Delhi, now it is Himachal’s turn
Rajendra Rana said that not only Himachal, but Congress is continuously getting weaker in the whole country. Wherever elections are being held, Congress is falling flat on its face. He said that Congress has been clean bowled to zero in Delhi and the same is going to happen in Himachal in the coming days. Because the public is ready to wipe out Congress.
He said that the Sukhu government is surrounded by its own decisions. Due to policies like unemployment, financial mismanagement, and non-implementation of guarantees, the people of the state have completely lost faith in Congress, which is now affecting the national politics as well.
Because the public has understood that Congress comes to power only by making big promises but fails to fulfill them.
Impact on future politics
Rajendra Rana said that the people of Himachal are restless to get rid of the misrule of Sukhu government, and in the next assembly elections, Congress will be wiped out of the state and the BJP will get a huge majority.
He claimed that the failure of Sukhu model will prove to be the last nail in the political coffin for Congress, and the public will definitely answer it in the coming elections.
