Shimla, February 12, 2026: Shri Gokul Butail, Principal Advisor (Innovation, Digital Technologies & Governance) to the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, will continue to draw a token honorarium of Re. 1 for the financial year 2026–27.
According to an official communication issued by the Office of the Principal Advisor, Butail has expressed his desire to continue receiving the symbolic amount, as in previous financial years. He has also stated that he will not avail any TA/DA or other admissible allowances under the relevant notification.
The matter has been placed on record for necessary action by the Government of Himachal Pradesh.
