The iHUB Shoolini, supported by iHUB DivyaSampark, Technology Innovation Hub, a joint initiative of the Department of Science and Technology and IIT Roorkee centre, was inaugurated by Mr. Manish Anand, CEO, iHUB DivyaSampark, at Shoolini University on Saturday.
Anand was felicitated and welcomed by Chancellor Prof. P.K Khosla. Vice Chancellor Prof. Atul Khosla addressed students and faculty members and spoke about the role of universities in research, innovation, startups, industrial revolution, and Atma Nirbharbhar Bharat.
Deepak Kumar, coordinator, iHUB Shoolini thanked the DivyaSampark for providing the financial assistance for establishing iHUB Shoolini.
Anand discussed the possible scopes, funding opportunities or grants from this initiative towards establishment of new start-ups, engage students and emerging scholars for innovative ideas in Cyber Physical System in Healthcare 4.0, Industry 4.0 and Smart cities. Different schemes under this initiative, including training and awareness of the college, university, and school students about digital innovation, and scholarship opportunities for emerging young scholars from and around Himachal Pradesh were also discussed. Deans, Directors, faculty members and students of the entire department were present in the inauguration ceremony.
