There is a golden opportunity for employment of ex-servicemen. Quota has been provided for ex-servicemen in various departments. Ex-Servicemen Employment Cell Hamirpur is working to fill this. Director General of Police Shimla gave permission to fill 123 posts of police constables from the quota of ex-servicemen. Only ex-servicemen who retired between January 1, 2022 and January 1, 2024 and have passed 10th can participate in this interview.
Meanwhile, Ex-Servicemen Employment Cell officer Ravindra Kumar Thakur said, ‘Ex-servicemen from all the districts of the state have been called for interview to fill 123 vacant posts. Out of 12 districts across the state, ex-servicemen of 5 districts Hamirpur, Mandi Una, Kangra, Shimla will be called through employment cell, while ex-servicemen of other districts will be called district wise. Ex-servicemen appearing in the interview can participate in the interview only with their various documents.
Let us tell you that the interview process to fill these posts will start from 24th February and will continue till 20th March. Let us tell you that recruitment is being done on 123 posts of police constable through the Directorate of Ex-Servicemen. In which there will be interview process for 74 posts of General Category, 16 of Other Backward Class, 24 of Scheduled Caste and nine of Scheduled Tribe. At the same time, interviews of ex-servicemen from across the state for these posts will be conducted in the Ex-Servicemen Employment Cell, Hamirpur. Ex-servicemen can participate in the interview only with their various documents like discharge book, professional and technical certificate, employment office card, Himachali certificate and affidavit.
