The International Conference on Image Information Processing (ICIIP) is a biennial event hosted by Jaypee University of Information Technology since 2011, with the sponsorship of Jaypee Group and IEEE. The conference serves as a crucial platform for researchers in the field of Computer Science, bringing together participants from India and around the world to exchange insights, research findings, and ideas pertaining to the foundations and applications of Image Processing and related areas.
The first day of the Seventh International Conference on Image Information Processing (ICIIP 2023) commenced with great enthusiasm at Jaypee University of Information Technology, Mr. Prabodh Saxena, the Chief Secretary of Himachal Pradesh,Prof. (Dr.) Rajendra Kumar Sharma,Major General Rakesh Bassi , graced the occasion with their presence and inaugurated the conference. The ceremonial opening was followed by insightful keynote addresses from distinguished speakers, Prof. S K Barai, Prof. (Dr.) Xin-She Yang, Dr. S.N. Omkar, Dr. Narendra Londhe, Prof. (Dr.)ANKIT AGRAWAL, Prof. ANGARAI GANESAN RAMAKRISHNAM, Prof. GAURAV SHARMA.
The conference continued with a series of sessions featuring presentations of selected research papers, attendees had the opportunity to explore diverse topics and groundbreaking ideas from experts in the field. There were around 182 sessions on various selected research papers throughout the conference, these sessions provided a platform for researchers to present their innovative ideas, share findings, and engage in constructive discussions. The seven technical tracks—Medical Image Data Analytics, Image Processing for Urban Planning, Computational Photography & Applications, Multimedia Systems & Applications, Digital Image Forensics & Security, Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition, served as pillars for engaging discussions and presentations.
Throughout the three days, sessions were chaired by faculty members,Prof. Dr. Pradeep Kumar Gupta,Dr. Tirath Raj, Dr. Anita, Dr. Yugal Kumar, Dr. Hari Singh, Dr. Rakesh Kanji, Dr. Ekta Gandotra, Prof. Dr. Rajiv Kumar, Dr. Emjee Puthooran, Prof. Dr. Shruti Jain, Dr. Aman Sharma, Dr. Harsh Sohal, Dr. Nishant Jain, Dr. Naveen Jaglan, Dr. Nancy Singla, Dr. Sunil Datt Sharma, Dr. Diksha Hooda, Dr. Jata Shankar, Dr. Shubham Goel, Dr. Kushal Kanwar and various other esteemed faculty members to ensure the smooth flow of sessions, fostering an environment of collaboration and knowledge exchange.
The overarching objective of the conference—to bring together researchers from academic institutions and R&D research labs—was resoundingly met. As attendees immersed themselves in the various tracks, exchanging views and ideas, the conference achieved its goal of facilitating meaningful discussions in the current research landscape.
