Devansh Moudgil, student of BTech second year in JUIT achieved laurels for his university and State of Himachal Pradesh by excelling in Rifle Shooting at State and National Level. He was declared a “Renowned Shot” in 65th National Shooting Championship held in Thiruvanthpuram in January 2023. Recently on 23 August 2023 he won VI Position in 42nd North Zone Shooting Championship held in Delhi and qualified for Nationals. Deputy Chief Engineer Mr. Manoj Sharma, who is also an employee of Jaypee Group, mentioned that he is so excited about the achievement of his son and looking forward for more laurels to the JUIT. Major General (Retd.) Rakesh Bassi, Registrar and dean of students, JUIT is also very happy with this achievement of Mr. Devansh Moudgil as his own student of JUIT. General Bassi congratulated father and son duo for this exceptional achievement of Mr. Devansh. Professor Tiratha Raj Singh, Media In-charge of JUIT also personally congratulated Mr Devansh and his father for this accomplishment. Prof Rajendra Kumar Sharma, Vice chancellor of JUIT also congratulated the student for his remarkable performance at state and national level and conveyed that is a special moment for the whole JUIT fraternity.
