The Enkindle Club at Jaypee University of Information Technology ignited innovation with its recent “Innovation in Motion: Robotic Arm Technology” workshop catered to first-year students. Organized by the CSE/IT department, the event was graced by esteemed figures including Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Rajendra Kumar Sharma, Dean of Academics and Research Prof. (Dr.) Ashok Kumar Gupta, Prof. & Associate Dean Dr. Shruti Jain, Head of Dept of CSE/IT Prof. (Dr.) Vivek Kumar Sehgal, and faculty coordinators Dr. Aman Sharma and Dr. Diksha Hooda. Additionally, Enkindle club & workshop coordinators Dr. Diksha Hooda and Dr. Aman Sharma outlined the Enkindle Club’s vision, highlighting future activities ranging from hackathons to seminars, fostering a culture of innovation and practical learning.
Keynote speaker Dr. Harpreet Singh, a renowned Post-Doctoral Research Scientist from Tel Aviv University, Israel, highlighted the diverse applications of robotic arm technology. Dr. Aman Sharma outlined the workshop’s schedule, setting the tone for the upcoming two days (March 19th and 20th). The heart of the event featured Assistant Professor Mr. Munish Sood’s demonstration of the Mitsubishi Robotic Arm, emphasizing the crucial role of hardware in shaping the future. This hands-on experience not only familiarized students with cutting-edge technology but also deepened their understanding of its practical applications, furthering JUIT’s mission to cultivate innovation and equip students for success in the ever-evolving tech landscape.
