Solan, March 27, 2026:
Kasauli International Public School (KIPS), Sanwara, is set to host a two-day ‘SAI Asmita Khelo India: Empowering Women Through Volleyball City League’ from March 27 to 28 on its campus, aiming to promote women’s participation in sports and encourage volleyball at the grassroots level.
Managing Director Hira Thakur said that no entry fee has been kept for the competition and there is no age limit, ensuring wider participation. He added that a total of 16 women’s teams will take part in the league.
All participants will be awarded participation certificates. The school has invited various educational institutions from the region and urged them to motivate their students to take part in the event.
The initiative, the management said, is focused on empowering women through sports while also providing a platform to showcase talent and build confidence among participants.
