The School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Shoolini University has developed an in-vitro testing facility to address the problem of several types of cancer in human beings.
The lab was inaugurated by Chancellor Prof. PK Khosla and Vice-Chancellor Prof Atul Khosla at a function in the campus today.
Dr. Kaur said this lab is based on in-vitro testing of compounds on various cancer cell lines like BT549, MCF7, SF295 HT29 ACHN K562, and PC3, and this facility will be helpful for the researcher from the Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Chemical Sciences, to identify the cytotoxicity profile, and anticancer potential of the chemical compounds. Chancellor and Vice-chancellor congratulated the dean and faculty members on this occasion.
