Shimla, June 13, 2025:
A tragic incident has been reported under the jurisdiction of Police Chowki Mashobra, where a 19-year-old girl, a native of Chamba district and currently residing at Balika Ashram, Mashobra, allegedly died by suicide. As per preliminary reports, the girl was found hanging near the staircase area of the Ashram.
Police officials along with the FSL team visited the spot and carried out necessary proceedings.
Further investigation is underway to ascertain the exact circumstances leading to the incident.
The matter is being handled with utmost sensitivity, SP shared.
