Shimla, BJP spokesperson Balbir Verma said that a big decision has been taken in the Union Cabinet meeting. The government has increased the subsidy given in the Ujjwala scheme. Now under the Ujjwala scheme, the subsidy on one cylinder from the government will increase to Rs 300. Earlier the government was giving subsidy of Rs 200 on one cylinder. Earlier, in the cabinet meeting held on August 30, 2023, the government had approved a subsidy of Rs 200 on domestic LPG cylinders. The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, chaired by PM Narendra Modi, had increased the existing subsidy for the beneficiaries of the Ujjwala scheme. In the previous announcement, the government had increased it by Rs 200, taking the total subsidy per cylinder to Rs 400. After the previous announcement, new connections under the subsidy scheme will be completely free. We thank the Central Government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for this big decision.
On the other hand, the Congress government in the state is leaving no stone unturned to harass the people with its decisions, inflation is being promoted in the entire state, as you know that the government has made diesel expensive and the public is being harassed by making the parties expensive in the depots. Worked to put burden on.
The present government has taken many decisions for the poor, exploited and deprived class due to which they are facing many problems. This government did not even spare those people who served the public during the Covid crisis, today they too are on the streets for their jobs.
