Shimla: A case of murder of a woman has come to light in Ghanperi village of the state capital Shimla. Here a man has killed his wife. The brother of the deceased complained to the police against his brother-in-law. At the same time, the police have registered a case and arrested the accused.
According to the information received from the police, the brother of the deceased, Akshay, has lodged a complaint at Baluganj police station, in which he told that his sister Gulshan was married to Tota Ram of Ghanperi village in 2020. Shortly after the marriage, the accused husband was constantly harassing Gulshan for dowry. On May 14, when the mother of the deceased called her, there was no response from the daughter. The family suspected that something had happened to their daughter, after which Akshay went to Ghanperi with his relatives. There he saw that the body of his sister Gulshan was dumped in a pit and an attempt was made to burn it. After this, he went to the police station and complained about it to the police.
On the other hand, on receiving the complaint, the police have registered a case under Section 103 and 238 of the Indian Penal Code. The police took immediate action and arrested the accused and started the investigation.
