Delhi, 18th June, 2025 – On the auspicious occasion of International Yoga Day, the Sant Nirankari Mission will organize a grand event on Saturday, 21st June 2025 at 6:00 AM across more than 1000 locations in India simultaneously. These events will be conducted in open grounds and parks under the guidance of local yoga instructors, where devotees, Sewadal volunteers, and local citizens will participate with great enthusiasm.
This year, the theme declared by the United Nations for International Yoga Day is “Yoga for One Earth, One Health”, which conveys the message to all humanity that true health is only complete when a person is physically, mentally, socially, and spiritually balanced and aware. Keeping this objective in mind, the center of the Sant Nirankari Mission through its spiritual and social endeavors, has been consistently promoting yoga as a medium of holistic well-being.
Shri Joginder Sukhija Ji, Secretary of the Sant Nirankari Mandal, informed that since the year 2015, the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation has been organizing Yoga Day nationwide on a regular basis. This initiative is continuously expanding under the blessings of Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj, whose guidance emphasizes “healthy mind, simple life.” Her thoughts clearly reflect that the human body is a divine gift from God and only by keeping it healthy and strong can a person truly fulfill their spiritual and social duties.
Yoga is one of the most ancient sciences of India, which not only strengthens the body but also has the power to calm the mind and awaken the soul. Through its regular practice, one can prevent stress, imbalance, and diseases while moving towards inner peace and social harmony.
In today’s fast-paced life, the core purpose of such events is to encourage us to prioritize our own health above all and to embrace the spirit of “Yoga for One Earth, One Health”, moving forward towards a happy, balanced, and peaceful life.
