Divisional Commissioner Kangra A. Under the chairmanship of Shainamol, a one-day training workshop was organized today at Bachat Bhawan Chamba to increase the working efficiency of the revenue officers of the district and to provide information about the Revenue Court process.
During this, Deputy Commissioner Chamba Apoorva Devgan was also present.
In the workshop, sub-divisional officers, tehsildars and naib tehsildars were given guidance and training for the proper functioning of revenue courts.
While giving information in the workshop, Divisional Commissioner Kangra said that the aim of the training is to settle the revenue matters in a prompt and lawful manner so that the land disputes can be resolved in a time bound manner.
He said that for speedy disposal of revenue related cases, it is very important for all the revenue officers to have complete knowledge of the Revenue Court procedure. During this time, he also gave tips to the revenue officers to solve the problems being faced in the Revenue Court process as well as disposal of cases.
In the workshop, Deputy Commissioner Apoorva Devgan gave detailed information to the revenue officers about the functioning of the Executive Magistrate etc. to deal with the cases in a lawful manner.
Additional District Magistrate Amit Mehra, Sub-Divisional Officer Churah Joginder Patial, Strategic Head Code Shweta Devgan informed the revenue officers about Section 118, spotting, land division, illegal occupations and death.
On this occasion, Assistant Commissioner Divisional Commissioner Ram Prasad Sharma, Sub Divisional Officers (Civil) of various sub divisions and Tehsildars and Naib Tehsildars and their readers were present.
